Detonation
Infiltrators hold to arm the device, Response holds to disarm it before the countdown runs out. Let go early and the progress drains. Every second counts.
- Arm & disarm or disarm only
- 1–30 s holds
- 10–300 s countdown
- 1 device or 4
TACT is the capture point, the code lock, the respawn counter and the scoreboard in one device. Link up to four across the field and monitor the game in real time from your phone or laptop, with live stats for every device. Made for airsoft skirmishes, milsim, paintball, Nerf and laser tag.
Most game props and domination boxes are a timer, a keypad and a buzzer. You buy one game and it never changes. TACT is a game master.
| Typical game prop / domination box | TACT | |
|---|---|---|
| Game modes | One game, played one way | 7 game modes included, each set up your way, with more to declassify |
| Devices supported | Each box runs alone | Up to 4 linked in one game, with bigger games possible in the future |
| Connectivity | Linking, if any, depends on the site's network | No Wi-Fi needed: TACT makes its own network or joins yours, and a device-to-device mesh reaches beyond Wi-Fi range |
| Signal drops | Game lost or out of sync | Game carries on, messages reroute through the mesh, devices sync back up when in range |
| Monitoring live games | Walk out to the box | Live on your phone or laptop*: every device, every score |
| Results | Gone when it switches off | Every game recorded, all-time stats per mode |
| New features | What you buy is all you get | Over-the-air updates and new CLASSIFIED missions |
| Controls | Keypad, LEDs, small display | Joypad controller, gloves on. Touchscreen as backup |
| Sound | A buzzer | Speakers for better immersion: game sounds, announcer and a location beep so you can find your device |
* Within Wi-Fi range of the hosting TACT.
Configure every mode to fit your scenario: teams, lives, timers, code length, one device or four across the map. The same mode can play completely differently from one game to the next. TACT keeps the clock, the objective and the score.
Infiltrators hold to arm the device, Response holds to disarm it before the countdown runs out. Let go early and the progress drains. Every second counts.
TACT sits at the respawn. Hit? Press your team's colour. Tickets count down, the last team standing wins.
Hold your colour to capture the point. The team that holds it longest wins. Link four for a full map.
Find the code, punch it in before the clock runs out. Guess wrong and the keypad locks you out while the timer keeps ticking.
Enter the arrow sequence under fire. Reach the hill and score. Run zombie-infection waves on a timer.
Gain clearance for more complex missions and fuller immersion. Hack terminals, crack codes and beat minigames against the clock.
New standard game modes are free with device updates. CLASSIFIED missions require an additional purchase to declassify.
Stick NFC tags on real objects: an intel folder, a VIP badge, a supply crate. Players fight to carry them across the field and scan them on TACT to score.
NFC game modes arrive in a future update. Some will be CLASSIFIED missions, which require an additional purchase to declassify.
The hosting TACT streams the whole game to any phone or laptop browser. No app, no internet, no signal needed at the field.*
* Your phone or laptop must be within Wi-Fi range of the hosting TACT.

Woods, quarries, abandoned buildings. TACT brings its own network, builds a mesh between devices, and doesn't panic when the signal doesn't reach.

Every respawn is counted. Every game is saved. No more "we definitely won that one".

TACT updates itself over Wi-Fi in about a minute.* Settings and stats are kept. If anything goes wrong, it rolls back by itself.
* Updates are about 2.5 MB. Time based on a 10 Mbps internet connection; slower connections take longer.
** Declassifying a mission needs internet access: the clearance code is entered online and the device syncs it over Wi-Fi.

Sites, clubs, events and backyard skirmishes.
TACT is built to be the most complete one: a single unit runs 7 game modes (arm-and-disarm, domination, king of the hill, passcode, respawn waves, sequence and team deathmatch) plus CLASSIFIED missions, each with its own rules to set (teams, lives, timers, scenario, code length, solo or linked), so every mode plays several different ways. It links up to 4 devices into one synchronised game, shows live stats on a phone or laptop, records every game and gets new versions over the air. Most game props and domination boxes do one or two fixed games.
Yes. Every game mode is played with the joypad controller, so gloves are no problem. The touchscreen is there as a backup.
Yes. TACT runs the objective, clock and score, so it works for any team game: airsoft skirmishes, paintball, Nerf, laser tag, gel blasters and milsim events.
No. TACT creates its own network: one device hosts, and the other devices and your phone connect to it. No router, internet or phone signal is needed. If your site has Wi-Fi or you have a hotspot, TACT can join that instead. Internet is only used to download updates.
The game carries on. TACT devices form a mesh: each one relays messages for the others, so a device out of the host's Wi-Fi range still talks to the host through the devices in between. If a device drops out completely, its game keeps running, and when it is back in range it rejoins the session by itself, with the same team colour, and sends its result to the host.
Yes. Skirmish days run game after game, so TACT is set up for quick turnarounds: pick a mode, set the time and press start, then PLAY AGAIN when it's over. One device or four can run the objective for every skirmish, the phone remote lets marshals watch and restart games from the sidelines, and every result is saved.
Yes. Milsim games run long and spread objectives across a whole site. Up to 4 linked TACT devices run one synchronised game on their own network and mesh, with no site Wi-Fi needed, even when devices are spread beyond Wi-Fi range; command can monitor every objective in real time from a phone or laptop; devices out of range keep playing and sync back up when they return; and every result is saved for the debrief.
Up to 4: one host and three more. The host sets the game up, every device starts on the same countdown, and the host combines everyone's results.
No. The hosting TACT serves a web page. Open it in any phone or laptop browser within range of the host's Wi-Fi, enter the PIN and you get a live copy of the host's screen plus every device's live score and stats.
NFC game modes are coming in a future update. NFC tags go on real objects, such as an intel folder, a VIP badge or a supply crate, and players scan them on TACT to score: escort the VIP, recover intel, dead drops and supply runs. Tags are cheap and reusable. Some NFC modes will be CLASSIFIED missions, bought separately.
Yes. TACT updates itself over Wi-Fi, and new standard game modes arrive free with updates. CLASSIFIED missions are extra missions bought separately and declassified with a clearance code.
